I'm Alyssa Chitwood, the brains and heart behind The Calm Bride. Ever since I was 16, I've approached the art of hosting the perfect party with dedication. After growing up in hospitality & events, I started my business in 2023. Having spent 18 months planning my own wedding, I assembled an exceptional team, with a carefully crafted execution plan & vision. It was on this day that the idea for The Calm Bride was born. ​
I realized that my dream was to turn my passion for orchestrating a flawless event into a career, inspiring & helping couples as they approach their wedding.

A customer-service-driven mindset is at the core of everything I do, ensuring an unbeatable guest experience - with the couple being the guest of honor. I leave no stone unturned, no question unasked, and no minute unaccounted for. My simultaneous love for travel pushed me to expand my business and launch my sister brand Love Notes & Landmarks. So now, through romance and celebration travel advising, I get to be part of your love story beyond just wedding day. ​​​
